Islay Walden Education Alliance and The Robert Chelsea Foundation are joining forces to advocate for Kidney Transplant, Tissue and Organ Donation within the Black Community. Called the Kidney, Tissue, and Organ Issue (KOTI), we seek to improve health outcomes for Black patients in tangible and sustainable ways.

At age 68, Robert Chelsea became the world's oldest and first Black full-face transplant recipient. Robert shares his story nationally to raise awareness and funding for kidney transplant and tissue and organ donation within the Black Community.
